No. Tournament participation is completely optional.
At Golden Eagle Taekwondo, students can enjoy Taekwondo, develop their skills, and progress through our Black Belt Curriculum without participating in tournaments.
We understand that every child is different, and not every student is interested in competition. That is perfectly okay.
For students who are interested, tournaments can be a great opportunity to challenge themselves, build confidence, practice skills under pressure, and learn how to handle both success and setbacks.
Competition can provide an exciting goal along their Taekwondo journey, but it is never required for advancement.
Whether your child wants to compete or simply wants to become stronger, more confident, disciplined, and focused, there is a place for them at Golden Eagle Taekwondo.
Not Sure If Taekwondo Is Right for Your Child?
