Taekwondo for Ages 4-5
Ages 4-5. A fun, age-appropriate introduction to martial arts that builds balance, focus and coordination while teaching kids to listen, follow directions and believe in themselves.
Your Child Will Practice
Focus - Learning to pay attention and stay engaged during class.
Listening - Learning to listen carefully and stay focused during class.
Balance - Practicing stable positions and controlled movements.
Coordination - Learning to coordinate hands, feet and body movements.
Courtesy - Learning to be respectful, polite, and considerate of others.
Confidence - Building confidence by learning new skills and trying new challenges.
Following Directions - Learning to follow instructions and participate safely in class.
What Does a Little Eagle Class Look Like?
Little Eagle classes are designed specifically for young children. Each class combines basic Taekwondo movements with activities that help children practice listening, balance, coordination and following directions.

Is Taekwondo good for beginners?
Yes. No previous experience is necessary.
What age can my child start?
Golden Eagle offers a Little Eagle program for ages 4–5. Children who are slightly more mature may start at 3 and a half, but most need to be at least 4 years old to join.
Does my child need a uniform?
No uniform is required for the first class.
Can parents participate?
Parents cannot join the Little Eagles class. Also, the Family class is only for children who are 6 years or older. It’s completely natural to worry about your child, but they need to learn how to do things on their own. Most kids adapt very quickly. In fact, some children actually do better when their parents aren't watching.
